Question for fans of The Vampire Diaries and The Twilight Saga. I saw on one site a comparison of "Twilight" and "The Vampire Diaries". Your opinion? In my opinion, the situations are similar. Stefan really looks like Edward. Elena is somewhat reminiscent of Bella. Comparing Jake and Damon is overkill. Unless they are in the same situation: Jake claims Bella, and Damon claims Elena. But neither in appearance nor in character they are not at all similar. and Lexi is somewhat reminiscent of Alice Cullen - Alice has the same demeanor, love for the holidays, even outwardly a little similar

I may be repeating myself, but the Twilight movie made a much bigger impression on me than The Vampire Diary. Much more serious movie. Although I really liked the Vampire Diary too! Wouldn't hesitate to watch again. :)

After "Twilight" I decided to watch this series, it lured me so much from the first time that I watched 2 seasons in 2 days. Now here I sit and wait for the release of the series. So cool! !
