Comparison of CMS software by popularity. The rating is based on site traffic as provided by Alexa. It may not reflect the number of users of the content management system. The last update was made on February 7, 2015.
The main types of CMS:
- Portal. Thematic or corporate site.
- Discussion forum.
- Digg-like. List of news presented by authors and marked by Internet users.
- Blog. News server for personal or corporate use.
To this are added specialized content managers, the main of which are also classified, and frameworks. All CMS are in PHP and MySQL, except for a short list of Java programs.
